A-dato “Early Adopter” of the TameFlow Approach
Inspired by the first TameFlow book, published in 2015 A-dato made the TameFlow Approach a key part of our workflow solutions, by including TameFlow Concepts within LYNX TameFlow. As A-dato we were early adopters, integrating Agile and Kanban into projects workflows.
Today we have many years of experience with implementing LYNX TameFlow and the TameFlow approach successfully with and for our customers.
From our experience, we cannot emphasize enough the value the Tameflow Approach has in “PEST” environments, like IT and Engineering.
For us, the TameFlow Approach represents the missing link, capable of augmenting existing approaches like Agile, Lean, SAFe, TOC and Kanban, since these approaches also have their limitations.
Today the TameFlow Approach is applied by many of our customers, by using the TameFlow style Kanban boards. The Flow-Efficiency-Boards, Drum-Buffer-Rope-Boards and the Kanban Tokens have proven their value. It helped them to reach a state of Flow and improve performance significantly.
With this book, The Book of TameFlow, Steve presents many breakthrough ideas again. He inspires us to continue along the TameFlow path.
The Book of TameFlow, How Dr. Goldratt of “The Goal” would apply the Theory of Constraints to rethink knowledge-work management, by Steve Tendon. |
This book focuses on how to manage Operational, Financial, and Informational Flow in large organizations that have to deal with: multiple Projects or Products, Events (or deadlines), Stakeholders, and Teams — or PEST environments.
Deploying management methods that deal with thousands of employees, clients, teams, projects/products, under heavy deadlines, all the while dealing with Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity (VUCA), is a formidable challenge. This book shows how to use the TameFlow Approach in such demanding situations, and yet arrive at optimal solutions that provide the best economic benefit to the business.
